Self Help, Self Improvement, Self Empowerment, Self Growth and so on: Which Label Do YOU Like Best?
Self-Help is often called Self Improvement, and yet the latter label especially (and the former one too to some extent) have the connotation that there’s something amiss if one feels the need to seek out self-help or self-improvement literature and other learning tools.
I’ve just found a very interesting discussion on that issue on the excellent blog by Ken the financial philosopher and thought I’d share it with you:

What do you think?
My own favorite terms actually are “self-empowerment” and “self-growth” but I also like “self-help” because it implies that yes, you can help yourself. You can take things into your own hands and do something about them.
