Instant Stress Relief Strategies & The Law Of Attraction

May 10th, 2008

What does the Law of Attraction have to do with stress management?

A lot! Stress is among the many feelings that basically push the incoming good away and attract bad stuff.

While we may not always exactly attract what we worry about, we are likely to attract something similar, and, as one of my favorite spiritual teachers once said, “Believe me, it will be adequate.”

So there is much to be gained from getting a handle on stress. But how? All the things that people tell you about, good nutrition, planning ahead and deep breathing just feel like Band-aids when the going gets really rough.

And retail therapy can get you into even bigger trouble when your finances are at the root of your stress.

Here’s what I’m going to do about it:

I’m going to create a special edition of my ebook that is focused specifically on stress and how to relieve it. It’s called “Instant Stress Relief Strategies” and you can get it at www.InstantStressReliefStrategies.com

At the moment what will happen when you go there is this:

You’ll see the new “sales page” but the book that will appear for download is the old version.

Not to worry. For a very limited time, i.e., until I have the new version finished and uploaded, you will get BOTH the old version “Feel Better Quickly” AND the new version “Instant Stress Relief Strategies” for the price of one. I’m even working on a special bonus that I will sell separately, but IF YOU BUY THIS WEEK, I will send it to you for free when it is ready. Seriously.

What is it? Well… I told you I’ve been there when it comes to stress, and at one point, I was literally on the verge of a heart attack with a blood pressure of 220/110 and killer triglycerides of 551. I was scared out of my socks of taking blood pressure meds, so I researched alternative blood pressure lowering information and took concerted action…

In my special report, I will share all the things I did and that worked and maybe even a few new ones I’ve discovered more recently.

So get it soon if you want that report. Everyone who buys my ebook THIS WEEK will get my special blood pressure lowering report FREE as soon as it’s ready.

Why the hurry? Because I’m trying to raise some money fast for my upcoming trip to New Zealand (to participate in a conference). More about that in a new post above…

But whether you buy my book or not, do remember that lowering your stress levels will go a long way towards making the Law of Attraction work for you so much better. Oh, and it will lower your blood pressure too!

Have a fantastic weekend!

Elisabeth

Too Much Stress? Here’s How To Tell You Need A Break And Get A FREE Ebook Too!

April 10th, 2008

Is your life too stressful? If the answer is yes, you probably won’t need any help with figuring out if you need a break. You KNOW.

But sometimes we’re in denial. We think, oh, it’s just a temporary thing and I’ll make it through this one too, but then there’s the next one and the next one, and our bodies, designed to fight or flee, which worked just fine way back in the early days, just can’t cope.

We were definitely not designed for long-term non-stop stress. Some of us have learned the hard way where this can lead. If you haven’t, do yourself a favor and don’t keep going till you find out for yourself. It’s not pretty.

So here are a few signs that should tell you to slow down — fast:

1: Racing heart and shaky hands, especially if that happens frequently.

2: Trouble sleeping. Thoughts racing through your head. Waking up in the middle of the night making to-do lists.

3. Neck pain, upper back pain, any back pain for that matter. My chiropractor tells me that out-of-whack vertebrae or, like he likes to call it, subluxations, are caused by the three T’s: trauma (we knew about that one), toxins, and thoughts.

Yes, thoughts. Thoughts of the variety that cause us stress. Have you ever been in the middle of being all stressed out about something and suddenly your back goes out? Or your neck hurts, Or your head?

4. Numbness and tingling in arms and/or hands (and legs too, I suppose). Another one I wasn’t aware of. I was a bit worried about it but figured I just pinched a nerve. Guess what. It’s all part of the body’s reaction to too much stress.

5. You feel sick to your stomach, or have any other gastro-intestinal irregularities. All of these can be caused by stress as well. Remember the tummy ache you had as a kid when you were afraid to go to school on test day or because the schoolyard bully had it in for you?

6. And if your weight has been moving up and up and up, that too may well be due to stress. Cortisol, the ultimate stress hormone, causes the body to store fat (remember, it’s an emergency — you may need it someday, or so the body thinks).

And that’s just for starters. If you find yourself plagued by any or all of the above, take a break.

Sure, deadlines may loom, but think about it: What will they do when you fall over with a heart attack? They’ll figure something out. Why not take the break earlier and NOT have that heart attack first. It’ll be easier on everybody, even from a straight cost/benefit point of view.

So if you’re too stressed to think straight, take a break already. Your work will go so much better when you’re feeling more relaxed and your body is back in balance.

For ways to actually lower stress and regain some peace of mind, and maybe improve your mood too, you may want to check out my FREE ebook with seven stress-lowering and mood-boosting tips. Okay, I admit it. It’s a shameless ploy to get you to take a look at it and then hopefully liking it so much you’ll want the real deal.

But mostly, I hope you’ll enjoy my book and find it helpful. So please, do take me up on my offer and get my special trial edition of Feel Better Quickly right now.

And feel better quickly ;-)

Have a great day!

Elisabeth

P.S.: If you can’t wait to get the full version, you can get that right here. or by clicking on the teddy bear at the top right of the screen.

Article Marketing on Steroids: A Path to Prosperity on the Internet for Way Less Cash than you thought possible…

March 26th, 2008

Let me tell you about my happiest discovery on the internet: article marketing.

It’s also called BUM marketing, presumably because you get to sit on your bum and yet can rake in lots of the green stuff. But this is way better than your average BUM marketing course, ecourse, or whatever.

I have them all, and yet, when Jeff Herring, article marketing expert extraordinaire, announces yet another teleseminar, I put it on my calendar immediately!

Why? Easy: Jeff delivers. He does what he says he will do. And then some. Lots of “some.”

And while his great big Internet Marketing Secrets Teleseminar has started, it’s not too late. You can still get in. You’ll just save lots of time… because you can access the audios for the first couple of weeks right away!

Jeff has changed my life. From despair to hope, from bleeding thousands every month to having the inflow increase (slowly so far, but accelerating), it’s all his doing. And especially giving me the confidence and know-how that makes me KNOW I can do it too.

He goes WAY beyond BUM marketing. Check it out right here:

http://www.turboarticles.net

And good luck ;-)

Elisabeth’s Happy Playlist

March 23rd, 2008

As promised in my book Feeling Better Quickly, I’m going to share my Happy Playlist with you right here on my blog. These are songs I play when I need cheering up or just because. I also often play them when I am already feeling good.

Please note that some of my favorite songs are German — that’s where I grew up and so I have a particularly strong emotional connection to some of the songs that made me feel good when I was young(er).

Some of them might not even be particularly obvious as happy songs — must have something to do with what happened in my life when I used to listen to them that I now, consciously or subconsciously associate with them. There are other songs not yet on that list because I haven’t been able to find electronic versions of them — yet.

Anyway, here they are, in no particular order, or rather, more or less in the order in which they arrived in my iTunes and I was able to add them:

All You Need Is Love (Beatles)

I Want to Hold Your Hand (Beatles)

Staying Alive (Bee Gees)

Saturday Night Fever (Bee Gees)

Pretty Woman (Roy Orbison)

Positive Vibrations (Bob Marley)

Sunshine of Your Love (Cream)

Radar Love (Golden Earring)

Samba Pa Ti (Santana)

Black Magic Woman (Santana)

Satisfaction (Rolling Stones)

Honky Tonk Woman (Rolling Stones)

I Want You (Bob Dylan)

Pop Muzik (M)

Rebel Rebel (David Bowie)

Jean Genie (David Bowie)

Magic Man (Heart)

Something (Beatles)

Come Together (Beatles)

I’m not in Love (10 cc)

Whisky in the Jar (Thin Lizzy)

All Things Are Possible (Darlene Zschech (Gospel from Australia)

Joy Joy Joy (Francine Jarry/Abraham-Hicks)

Aber Dich gibt’s nur einmal fuer mich (Flippers)

Listen to the Music (Doobie Brothers)

Flashdance (What a Feeling) (Irene Cara)

Try (Just A Little Bit Harder) Janis Joplin

Celebration (Kool & the Gang)

Financially Free (Lauren Lane Powell)

Manifesting Money (Lauren Lane Powell)

Eyeballin’ (Lonnie Brooks)

We Are The Champions (Queen)

Es wird ein Bettler zum Koening (Ricky Shayne)

Ich sprenge alle Ketten (Ricky Shayne)

Born to be Wild (Steppenwolf)

Joy to the World (Three Dog Night)

An Old Fashioned Love Song (Three Dog Night)

The Show Must Go On (Three Dog Night)

Eye of the Tiger (Survivor)

Stairway to Heaven (Led Zeppelin)

One Step Beyond (Madness)

In the Summertime (Mungo Jerry)

School’s Out (Alice Cooper)

Schoen ist es auf der Welt zu sein (Roy Black & Anita)

Ich sing ein Lied fuer Dich (Heintje)

Ich bau dir ein Schloss (Heintje)

I Will Survive (Gloria Gaynor)

And last, but definitely not least:

The entire Tschaikowski Violin Concerto in D-Major.

Enjoy ;-)

My Emergency “Get Happy Quickly” Toolbox & How To Use It

March 23rd, 2008

Oh dear! It’s been an incredibly crazy couple of weeks. Good thing I get to use all the tricks in my toolbox any time I like!

Murphy’s Law abounded. Or so it felt anyway. I should have known better — things do tend to take longer and need more double-checking than I expect.

And I’m still not finished. I’m planning to slicken up that sales page for my Get Happy Quickly Ebook. It still looks a whole lot less slick than I wish it did. But at least it’s working.

And my shiny new affiliate program (I can hardly believe I have one!) had a few snafus too. But true to form, after sorting them out, I immediately wrote it up and sent it over to ezinearticles.com :)

So what’s next? Advertise! I had been wondering about how I’m going to get the word out when I discovered a special offer on Avery Berman’s new book that I really wanted to buy (that kid is GOOD!) so I bought it (the book is as cool as all his stuff (MySpace video and Craigslist video is what I had before), and so is the third video that I now own: It’s on AdBrite! I felt so inspired that I immediately went there and bought a couple of ads. I can hardly wait to find out what’ll happen!

Adbrite is great because it’s way cheaper than Google Adwords. Or is it Adsense? I always get the two mixed up. Anyway, check it out if you like:

And I’ll tell you more about Avery’s cool new book once I’ve finished reading it (shouldn’t be long!)

In the meantime, if you haven’t already, please (pretty please) check out my own new book: Feel Better Quickly: Emergency Rescue Toolbox for your Mood.

Have a wonderful weekend.

Elisabeth

P.S.: My newest project: A series of articles about Aromatherapy, plus a booklet (to give away — yes, all my subscribers will get one), and probably an ebook I’ll sell.

I really like aromatherapy and use it all the time. I did manage to wean myself off the Zzzonked aromatherapy I used for several years to help me fall asleep. I still sometimes find it hard to believe that I’m sleeping just fine without it these days.

So let’s see… what aromas are the best ones to help you fall asleep: Personally, I really like Lavender. Jasmine is also very calming. Pair with an herbal relaxing tea and you may well sleep like a baby. More to follow another time…

How to Get Happy(er) Fast! My Emergency Mood Rescue Toolbox Is Finally On Sale!

March 8th, 2008

Stressed? Depressed? Don’t put up with it. You CAN make yourself feel better fast.

How? Just get a copy of my emotional emergency rescue toolbox and start using it, and before you know it, you’ll feel MUCH better.

And all that for the price of, oh, 10 minutes of therapy perhaps. Maybe 15. Or a few pills of Taxol. Or a movie and popcorn for one.

And what do you get? A toolbox that lets you take charge of your emotions for years to come.

Not bad, is it?

Just click on this cute little teddybear and check it out:

Okay, as you can see, the sales page is there and functional, though not the flashiest one on the web. I’ll work on upgrading it some more. But I’m just so thrilled anyway that I’ve got it going.

And I’ve even set up the shopping cart system, and the automatic delivery of the ebook. And it’s working!!!

You’d have to know what a technophobe I was less then 2 years ago to really appreciate this.

Anyway. Give it a try. You can check it out right here:

Elisabeth’s Emergency Mood Rescue Kit

Take a look. Click on the the teddy bear above. Read the book. Feel better…

And if you like it, please let me know. Especially if I can use it as a testimonial ;-)

Now I’m off to make myself another mug of spiced hot chocolate. Yummm.

I hope you’ll have a wonderful evening.

Elisabeth

Affiliate Defined: Prosperity with Affiliate Marketing! I Think I Have Finally Found the Tools That Will Make It Happen!

February 14th, 2008

Affiliate Defined. Thanks to 13-year old British whiz kid David Wilkerson I think I may finally be able to put my affiliate marketing efforts on the right track. I kid you not!

I meditated this morning, which has brought surprising influxes of cash before, and so I consider it serendipity that I got an excited email from Ross Goldberg, the guru who put on the conference in Vegas I’ve mentioned here recently (I think).

He really knows his stuff when it comes to traffic and affiliate marketing, and so when he was so enthusiastic with recommending this ebook, I checked it out.

And you know what? It rocks. Really and truly. Fantastic info. Written in an accessible and entertaining style. Fun to read!

More on the book on my favorite webstuff blog. I’m trying to reign in the internet marketing stuff in this neighborhood, but since I DO write about prosperity, and this may well be the ticket, here it is.

Go here to find out why I like it so much. You may too!

That was the link for the ebook itself, actually. Here’s the link for my own website, with more detailed comments:

Better Sleep for More Energy: 6 Tricks & Tips

February 11th, 2008

Do you wish you had more energy? How are you sleeping?

If life is stressful, chances are that sleep suffers. You may simply not have (or make) enough time for sleep (if so, you know what to do!).

Or, once you do go to bed, the zzz’s just don’t seem to come as easily as you may have hoped for…

What to do?

Lots of things. Here are a few that have helped me during a lengthy episode of challenged sleep a few years ago, and still do when the need arises:

1. Outsourcing your worries: Don’t go to sleep with them (as if you could!). Write them down on a piece of paper, or into a notebook, and let the universe take care of them. At least till morning. No, seriously, you’ll sleep better almost instantly.

2. Make sure your sleep “environment” is the way you like it. Dark, quiet, right temperature, comfy bed.

3. Wear socks. I know that some people joke about other people wearing socks to bed, but when it comes to sleep, they may be just what the doctor ordered.

4. Consider earplugs if noise is an issue. The world’s best earplugs are made in Germany and are called Ohropax. You can find some on Amazon.com (expensive if you buy them there but worth every penny). You can also bribe any German friends you may have into sending you some.

5. Have a calming night-time routine. Hot chocolate (or milk), calming music, boring reading ;-) and maybe some deep breathing. In fact, trying to do some meditation once you go to bed may really help. Do one where you have to focus on your breaths, and breathe really slowly. Don’t worry if you keep falling asleep in the middle of it. That’s the idea!

6. Soothing music. Stephen Halpern’s Sleep Soundly is one option. Check back for another option that I’ll have to check on first.

To be continued at some point in the future and/or in my newsletter ;-)
