Manifesting Desires More Easily With The Law of Attraction and the Law of Detachment

the law of attraction the law of detachmentIn his book, “The Seven Spiritual Laws of Success,” Deepak Chopra writes: “The Law of Detachment says that in order to acquire anything in the physical universe, you have to relinquish your attachment to it. This doesn’t mean you give up the intention to create your desire. You don’t give up the intention, and you don’t give up the desire. You give up your attachment to the result.” Manifesting desires more easily can be achieved with the Law of Attraction and the Law of Detachment work hand in hand.

This is a key requirement in manifesting anything with the Law of Attraction, but few people understand why it’s so important, and even fewer people understand how to do it properly.

Using The Law of Attraction, the Law of Detachment When Manifesting Desires More Easily

First let’s explore why this law is so important in manifesting your desires. As you probably know, the Law of Attraction is always responding to your dominant feelings on any given subject. If you are trying to attract money and abundance, you need to resonate on the frequency of money and abundance in order to allow it into your life.

When you feel abundant, you are allowing abundance. When you feel broke and unhappy, you are allowing more “brokeness” and unhappiness.

Consider for a moment the emotional qualities of attachment and detachment.

How Detachment helps with Manifesting Desires More Easily

Attachment is clingy, needy, desperate and scarcity focused. Detachment is calm, relaxed and open.

When you cling to anything emotionally, you are radiating a signal to the universe that you do not have it and you really, really want it! Broadcasting a strong desire is good, but broadcasting scarcity is NOT good. It will block that thing from coming to you because you are not vibrationally aligned with receiving it.

When you deliberately let go of your attachment to money or anything else, you start communicating a signal of peace and well-being to the universe, and you start opening to receive it.

So, here’s the big question…

HOW do you release your attachment to something, especially if you really need it badly?

Here’s one of the best techniques I’ve used for manifesting desires more easily – It is the habit of saying to myself over and over again, “Let go, let go, let go . . . it will come to me easily if I just let go. I turn this over to the universe now and trust that it will come to me with perfect timing.”

It does take practice to really get comfortable with the technique, but it works wonders if you keep saying it!

It’s especially important to say this whenever you start to feel tense and worried that your desire might not be granted. For example, when you experience a strong need for money and it seems like no money is coming – shake yourself out of that worried, anxious state of mind and repeat the above affirmation until you feel more relaxed again. Later, if the anxiety comes back, say it again . . . and again . . . and again!

Keep repeating this technique as many times as you have to until you start to feel more comfortable with detachment.

Manifesting Desires Gets Easier With Practice

Remember, you don’t have to give up your intention or your desire. In fact, the stronger your intention and desire are, the faster your desires will manifest.

However, be sure you are laying your desires and intentions on a foundation of joy, gratitude, and optimism – knowing and trusting completely that they WILL be yours. Never express worry, doubt, or impatience about them because doing so will only delay their arrival.

Trust, believe, KNOW that they are coming, and do what you can to keep letting go and feeling good in the meantime.

3 Ways to Keep Your Self-Discipline Habits Healthy

self-discipline habitsSelf-discipline is an essential element in life – not only does it help you stay away from bad habits, but it also encourages you to work toward making your life better. Healthy self-discipline habits have been associated with numerous benefits, like staying healthy and leading a stress-free life.

Sometimes in an effort to live a disciplined life, it is possible for you to take it too far and be very hard on yourself. When you lose sight of your goals and forget that you are only human, excessive self-discipline may become destructive. Your habits of being focused and goal-oriented can turn into an obsession over a period of time. You may become so rigid about your ways that some activities may no longer be as enjoyable as before. Here are a few ways in which you can keep your self-discipline habits healthy:

1. Healthy Self-Discipline Habits: Be clear about what you want

For your self-discipline to remain a healthy practice, it is important that you have a clear idea about your goals. Self-discipline doesn’t mean that you are forcing yourself to do something you don’t want to. It is not an external compulsion where something is decided for you against your will. Keep in mind that whatever you have decided, you are doing it for yourself.

Be extremely clear about your intentions – what your goals are, why they are important, and how you are going to achieve them. One of the most important reasons why people fail to attain their goals is because they lack clarity of vision. When you are aware of your intentions, you will feel motivated to work toward your goals wholeheartedly.

2. Be compassionate to yourself

After laying down rules for yourself, you might be trying very hard to stay on the right track by sticking to your diet, controlling your anger, staying away from an ex-partner who is bad for you, or giving up drinking or smoking. But the road to recovery is full of relapses. How do you treat yourself when you face a momentary setback or failure? Does your internal dialogue turn excessively critical or mean? Do you end up thinking negatively about yourself?

Critical self-talk and negative thoughts are your worst enemy, because they destroy your motivation and fervor. Sometimes, these negative thoughts work as a self-fulfilling prophecy – the more you focus on the fact that you failed, the higher your chances of failure in the future. When you want to keep your self-discipline healthy, it is crucial that you identify these self-defeating thoughts. Replace these abusive thoughts with positive ones, like, ‘I can do it,’ ‘I am only human,’ and ‘I can bounce back even after failing a few times.’

3. Be 100% committed to your self-discipline goals

There is no point in attempting to improve your healthy self-discipline habits if you aren’t going to commit to it completely. Plan ahead, and make the process as easy as possible for yourself. For example, if your goal is to exercise self-discipline while handling the critical remarks of a narcissistic ex-partner, cease all contact with the person in question, don’t follow them on social media, and work hard to add new activities and friends to your life. The healthiest way to commit is to give your best toward your goal, and learn to adapt to unexpected setbacks on your journey.

Remember, self-discipline is something new that you are learning – it’s not a skill you were born with. As such, there will be times when things don’t go as planned. Along with disciplining yourself, you also have to love who you are, as you are. There are going to be a few bad days; just remember to give yourself a break when those come around and continue to develop your healthy self-discipline habits. Don’t be too harsh on yourself – failure is just a stepping stone to success.

How To Use Kaizen To Grow Your Business

kaizen to grow your businessKaizen is the Japanese practice of making small, incremental improvements continually rather than drastic, sudden changes. It makes improvements easier and stress free. So you to use Kaizen to grow your business?

As long as you focus on making your improvements step by step, Kaizen can be used to boost productivity, raise profits, improve staff morale, streamline processes and create many other benefits when used in business. It doesn’t matter if it’s a multinational corporation or just an individual at home trying to build an online business. Kaizen will help you.

The key to succeeding with Kaizen is awareness. You need to know exactly what you’re doing and where you want to go. Once you have that all written down and mapped out, you will need to think where you can make improvements to better your performance.

It doesn’t have to be life-changing improvements. Small ones work just fine and Kaizen is all about small changes over time. For example, if you’re an online entrepreneur, you may notice that a huge chunk of your time is eaten up by social media.

At times like these, you may wish to cut down on your social media time so that you can put the time to more productive use. It may seem difficult at first, if you’re in the habit of spending hours on Tinder, Facebook, etc.

So, cut down the time by manageable amounts till the habit is broken. Use the time saved to do activities that will improve your business. Focus on what increases your bottom line.

If you’re a small income business owner and you receive complaints often, you should analyze what is going wrong. Is there a problem with the service? Or is it the product?

If your business is not making enough money, is the pricing wrong? Do enough people know about your product or service? Do you need to advertise?
All these questions need to be asked… because the answers are what will need improvement. If you never ask any questions about improving, things will stay stagnant and probably end up deteriorating.

Kaizen requires you to stay alert and always have an open mind. If you have staff, always ask them for feedback and suggestions about what can be improved. How can you cut costs? Are there procedures that can be streamlined?

You’ll be amazed at the amount of redundant and repetitive work that takes place in companies. Workers are just going through the motions because they have no pride in their jobs. They feel like the company doesn’t care about their opinions or ideas.

Most Japanese companies have an open door policy where even the low level employees can make suggestions to the top management. This is very effective because only the people on the ground know what’s best for what they’re doing.
Kaizen is all about looking at what is not working ideally and improving it.

Like the saying goes, ‘Make your good into better and your better into best.’
By giving your staff the chance to be heard, they will feel valued and more motivated. This will lead to higher productivity, lower costs and increased profits. Everyone will benefit.

You may be amazed to see that some of the staff’s suggestions may save you thousands of dollars in operating costs. Make Kaizen a part of your business. You have everything to gain and nothing to lose by adopting Kaizen as a company philosophy.

Manifesting Abundance – How to get what you want

manifesting abundanceHow would you like to get what you want? In today’s article, I’m going to focus on several key steps that will help making it happen and a few things to avoid. It’s all about manifesting abundance, in whatever shape and form you would like it to appear.

I know you’ve heard about the Secret and the Law of Attraction, so I’m not going to go into unnecessary detail. However, there are several key areas we need to address:

1) Focus on what you DO want

Many of us (yours truly included) often approaches manifesting by focusing on what we don’t want. And we’ve seen the evidence of how well this works, or rather doesn’t work. If we say, I do NOT want to be in debt, the universe will hear I want debt and will give it to us.

So instead, as Abraham says, we should focus on what we do want. Acknowledging what we don’t want serves as a starting point for that – it helps us figure out what it is we actually want. So if I do not want debt, I want an abundance of money, enough to pay my bills easily, joyfully, and in a timely manner, with plenty left over.

Whatever it is you want, find a way to phrase it in a way that highlights what you DO want.

2) Focus on your emotions

Next, we need to realize that our emotions are what really attract things and events to us. If we’re frustrated and bitter because we didn’t get the raise, we’ll attract more of what makes us frustrated and bitter. So let’s cut it out already.

I know that this can be difficult. I used to be a walking talking festering boil of resentment and I’m now kicking myself for having wasted so much time because this indulgence in negative emotions only attracted more reasons to feel miserable and resentful.

The first person who explained that concept to me was psychic Bill Burns. He said, I need to be happy first, and THEN things will go well. I tried to explain to him I’d be happy once I get the things I wanted and needed. He, of course, wasn’t having any of it!

And now I know he was right. Actually, I have known for years now, but it took a while until I mastered the art of feeling good while I didn’t have what I wanted… YET.

Oh, and Abraham also pointed out that emotions speak louder than words, so if you say “I’m happy, I’m happy,” but inside you feel angry and frustrated, the universe will only hear “angry and frustrated” and will deliver more of what will make you more angry and frustrated.

3) Manifesting abundance

So how do you manifest abundance? You focus on the kind of abundance you want, and the feelings you’re going to have when you get it. And then you start generating the feelings you’ve just imagined for real, even if your abundance hasn’t shown up yet.

Actually, it’s really not that hard. We all have abundance on some level. I have an abundance of books. So I can just express my gratitude and joy at having all those books.

And that’s not all. Did you know that we can express gratitude even for things that haven’t actually happened yet? We can say we’re grateful they’re on their way, they’re getting closer, they’re already there but not quite in our reality yet, and so on.

4) Gratitude

I know I mentioned that above, but it deserves its own section. Yes, you need to be grateful for what you have. Whether you’re keeping a gratitude journal or thank the universe several times a day for all the good things that are in your life, it works.

Not only will it help you overcome resistance to having what you want come into your life, but it will also improve your mood and make you more joyful, and THAT, in turn, is what helps you attract what you want.

5) Repeat daily to get what you want

Here’s the key: you have to do it daily. Every day, think of what it is you want in a positive way, appreciate things in your life that are already moving in the right direction, appreciate whatever makes you happy, and be grateful and joyful.

And before you know it… You’ve attracted what you really want.

My Self Help Blog Is Finally Mobile Friendly

self help blog mobile friendlyI’ve been meaning to update my self help blog for ages, and I finally did it. I went through each one of the blog posts, deleted some, updated many, and put a good number in draft mode so I can fix them later). And my self help blog is finally mobile friendly!

What took me so long?

Well, it’s a BIG blog. It had almost 250 posts, and I wanted to make sure everything was safely backed up before I started messing with it.

Well, thanks to my trusty backup software, I was able to back it up.

Making My Self Help Blog Mobile Friendly

And then, I held my breath and updated the ancient version of WP to the current one. Everything went well.

But in order to make it mobile friendly, I had to change the theme too. That was part of the hold up. I really liked the old theme. I mean, it has been the familiar theme for about 9 years!

Alas, that theme didn’t have any recent versions, and it was decidedly not mobile friendly.

So I did what I had to do, and, well, I was surprised at how much I like the result. I was able to create a header image that maintains the overall feel of the previous theme: A serene beach house scene on Hawaii’s Big Island. In fact, I find it striking just how similar to the original it is.

Updating My Self Help Blog

Once I had the frame updated, it was time to deal with the content. I had written almost 250 blog posts, some of them lengthy, some of them not so lengthy. Either way, I had to take a close look at every one of them and do one of three things: Keep (usually with fixes and updates), delete, or put in draft mode for later editing.

So I started with the oldest post and worked my way forward. Some of my earlier posts were more like extended Facebook posts, so I deleted quite a few. But then, I shared information I was really pleased with, and that I wanted to save.

But some of the links were no longer working. So I fixed them all. If there was a complicated case where I needed to do some research, I put the post into draft mode.

And I kept moving, and moving, and moving, and voila!

I went from 246 original published posts to 139 published posts, 60 in trash and 47 in “draft” mode.

Next Step For My Favorite Self Help Blog

So what’s next? Now that I have overhauled the whole blog, I’m ready to post again, lots. I’m also working on getting it found again. I’ll be posting on my Favorite Self Help Stuff Facebook page and running promoted posts…

And as time permits, I’ll go through the drafts, this time from the newest to the older ones, and make sure everything works. And then I publish those too, for the most part.

I’ll also go back through all those categories and try to reduce them to a more manageable number. When I first started this blog, I was really new to the online world, and didn’t know how categories worked, or keywords for that matter.

Now, I realize that my blog posts will be much more effective if they’re more focused on fewer keywords. And so I’m going to check on my keywords and delete a few.

Finally, I’m going to link to some of my older posts from the newer ones, to help my readers find related content.
