New Zealand Trip Is ON!

Wednesday, May 28th, 2008

I’m traveling to New Zealand! Yay!

My fundraisers to pay for the trip worked even better than I had expected, especially that Warrior Special Offer where I offered my writing services at a rock-bottom discount — I’m still totally swamped with writing gigs, which is why I haven’t posted much on my blogs lately as I’m working my way through the assignments one after the other. I hope I’ll get them all done by the time I leave!

Who knew! But they’re very interesting and good practice. Hopefully all that practice will make me a lot faster too eventually.

There’s another lesson here I think. Be careful when you offer your labor too cheaply. My thinking on that now is “don’t” or at least, put a cap on it. I only have so much time and energy, and if there’s too much to do for the time available, I’m right back in stress land.

So anyway, I got my tickets, the ones from San Francisco to New Zealand and back, and also the ones for Virginia to San Francisco (I bought those last night).

Why two separate sets? Two reasons (at least):

1. I needed to buy the NZ tix as soon as possible because those seats fill up fast. That’s not so much the case for the VA to SF tickets. And it’s a way to stretch out the expense a bit.

2. I used to live in the SF Bay Area. So this way I can schedule a stop-over in San Francisco for a couple of days and spend time with friends there, which is GREAT! I’m really looking forward to it.

Now back to writing ;-) And also to writing my conference paper on the persuasive strategies in internet marketing, a research topic I became interested in when I kept wondering how they did this: I read an email and then the next thing is I’m scrambling to get out my credit card, and before I know it I bought something else.

Does that ever happen to you too? I’ve gotten a bit more immune, but it still happens. So now I’ve decided to turn it into a scientific study. How do they do that? It’s very interesting! I want to learn how to do it too, so I’m really double-dipping here ;-)

Well, back to work. Y’all have a fabulous day!

Increase Prosperity. Become A Millionaire. Turbo Charge Your Wealth Consciousness ;-)

Thursday, May 15th, 2008

Yes you can. How? The same way you accomplish anything else.

Find some role models. There’s just that tiny little problem: where can you find some Millionaire role models? Yes, it can be a bit challenging at times, but it will be sooo worth it.

Consider that we supposedly make about the average of the money that the people around us make.

And our salaries haven’t even kept up with inflation…

But there ARE Millionaires and even Billionaires. And how many do you really “need”?

Here’s how you can get the attention of your favorite millionaire:

1. Work on your mindset. Nobody likes to hang out with someone who begrudges them their money.

2. Work on creating streams of income.

3. Spend time with really rich people. Where? How? Go places where they hang out. Opera, Theater, Classical Music Concerts, and certain charities.

4. Do NOT hit them up for money.*

(* UNLESS you’re raising funds for a cause they care about.)

Instead, go to one of my favorite billionaires‘ website and download your FREE inspirational virtual CD:

Nine Steps to Achieve Any Goal!

It’s quite an inspiring program!

Enjoy and have a great evening.

Nam-Myoho-Renge-Kyo: Buddhist Chanting for Manifestation?

Monday, May 12th, 2008

Chanting for manifestation? I read about it in Tina Turner’s autobiography quite a few years back and was intrigued. But I didn’t really follow up. Part of me didn’t really believe it. That was years before I discovered Abraham.

Last Saturday, I had an experience that made me a believer (or at least a tentative believer):

A few friends from Unity got together to work on manifesting money and other things they wanted in their lives. Of course, I’m interested in that as well, as you know from previous blog entries, especially for my New Zealand trip (see below) (and also for the bills etc.).

The meeting included a chanting session, led by Gino, a Buddhist (don’t know what descriptive noun to use — I’m not sure he’s a monk, and “expert chanter” definitely doesn’t sound quite right).

In any case, he explained the meaning of everything, the chant as well as the altar we sat in front of and how it would work, and proceeded to lead us in our chanting Nam-Myoho-Renge-Kyo for about 30 minutes. It was an extremely powerful experience.

Before I left for the meeting, I had frantically tried to list some stuff on Ebay but wasn’t able to because my camera’s battery was dead and I had to wait until it charged.

I had also set up a listing in a forum where people sell each other their products and services, but wasn’t holding my breath. The response to my previous efforts there had been underwhelming to put it politely. I didn’t even make my listing fee back.

Yet when I returned home after the chanting and checked my email and discovered that I had received THREE orders on the forum, two of them quite substantial! The results from that evening totalled more than 40 times more than what I had received in the entire time before.

I had done a better job with the marketing aspect, but still, the timing was really uncanny. (and no orders since either! I will have to chant some more).

I was definitely impressed. Gino had told us to expect results, but so quickly, and so clearly? I’ll be chanting regularly now. I think I can do it in place of some of my meditation sessions…

You may want to try it too. Just be sure you get the most important part right, which is to think of what you want to happen while you chant Nam-Myoho-Renge-Kyo.

Will it work if you chant something else? I really don’t know. My opinion? Why mess with success?

The rest of the evening included treasure map making (depicting the things we wanted to manifest in our lives, and very yummy food!

And now, if you’ll excuse me, I need to do my chanting for tonight!

P.S.: Maybe I should add a chapter about chanting in my stress-relief ebook

Instant Stress Relief Strategies & The Law Of Attraction

Saturday, May 10th, 2008

What does the Law of Attraction have to do with stress management?

A lot! Stress is among the many feelings that basically push the incoming good away and attract bad stuff.

While we may not always exactly attract what we worry about, we are likely to attract something similar, and, as one of my favorite spiritual teachers once said, “Believe me, it will be adequate.”

So there is much to be gained from getting a handle on stress. But how? All the things that people tell you about, good nutrition, planning ahead and deep breathing just feel like Band-aids when the going gets really rough.

And retail therapy can get you into even bigger trouble when your finances are at the root of your stress.

Here’s what I’m going to do about it:

I’m going to create a special edition of my ebook that is focused specifically on stress and how to relieve it. It’s called “Instant Stress Relief Strategies” and you can get it at www.InstantStressReliefStrategies.com

At the moment what will happen when you go there is this:

You’ll see the new “sales page” but the book that will appear for download is the old version.

Not to worry. For a very limited time, i.e., until I have the new version finished and uploaded, you will get BOTH the old version “Feel Better Quickly” AND the new version “Instant Stress Relief Strategies” for the price of one. I’m even working on a special bonus that I will sell separately, but IF YOU BUY THIS WEEK, I will send it to you for free when it is ready. Seriously.

What is it? Well… I told you I’ve been there when it comes to stress, and at one point, I was literally on the verge of a heart attack with a blood pressure of 220/110 and killer triglycerides of 551. I was scared out of my socks of taking blood pressure meds, so I researched alternative blood pressure lowering information and took concerted action…

In my special report, I will share all the things I did and that worked and maybe even a few new ones I’ve discovered more recently.

So get it soon if you want that report. Everyone who buys my ebook THIS WEEK will get my special blood pressure lowering report FREE as soon as it’s ready.

Why the hurry? Because I’m trying to raise some money fast for my upcoming trip to New Zealand (to participate in a conference). More about that in a new post above…

But whether you buy my book or not, do remember that lowering your stress levels will go a long way towards making the Law of Attraction work for you so much better. Oh, and it will lower your blood pressure too!

Have a fantastic weekend!

Elisabeth
